Moy Valley AC juvenile members will be competing this Saturday and Sunday, the 20th and 21st of August, in the National Community Games finals in Athlone. All-Ireland Community Games semi-finals

Best of luck to all members of the Mayo Cross Country team who will compete in the All Ireland Community Games semi-finals this Saturday the 13th August. The group have travelled from all parts of Mayo to train on the magnificent Belleek cross country course over the past few weeks supported by dedicated Moy Valley AC coach, Philip Finnerty. The team have trained very well and we wish them all the very best of luck.

Making the most of our town amenities

Training for Moy Valley AC takes place in a variety of locations in the Moy Valley region. Our usual training sessions take place in the rolling parkland of Belleek town park in one of the most beautiful settings in Ballina. Moy Valley AC coach, Deirdre Gallagher (Clarke), competed in the 10,000 m race walking final in the Olympic Games in Atlanta on the 29th of July, 1996 - 20 years ago this week. Beach training – 27th July

Training for Moy Valley Athletic Club took place on the beautiful expanses of Enniscrone beach on Wednesday the 27th of July. All interested met at the lifeguard's hut at 7 pm and an hour of varied training took place. A change of clothes after the training session was advised beforehand and was definitely needed!!!!!. Thanks to Liam for all the work put into this training event and a surprise box of prizes for the beach challenge!
